About Pharma Investgator

Scientific Skepticism, Applied to Biotech.

An independent biotech investigation, research, and due-diligence firm. We bring scientific rigor and a clear, balanced perspective to complex biotech questions.

The Information Gap

Why We Exist

Founding Observation

“Biotechnology is one of the few industries where billions of dollars of market value can depend on a clinical trial that only a small percentage of investors fully understand. Pharma Investgator exists to close that information gap.”

Public biotech companies tell stories: breakthrough efficacy, transformative mechanisms, blockbuster addressable markets. Some of those stories are well supported by data. Others are supported by subgroup analyses, endpoint switches, and carefully worded press releases.

Most investors — and many journalists, analysts, and even sophisticated funds — do not have the time or the specialized training to read a clinical study report, reconstruct a trial's endpoint history from registry archives, or evaluate whether a p-value supports the sentence it appears in.

We do. And we publish what the evidence shows, in language that is careful, sourced, and checkable.

What We Combine

Six Disciplines, One Standard

  • Clinical trial analysis — design, endpoints, enrollment, and protocol history reconstructed from registries and filings.
  • Biostatistics — significance versus clinical relevance, power, multiplicity, missing data, and subgroup inference.
  • Scientific literature review — publications, conference abstracts, and the gap between what was written and what was said.
  • Regulatory research — FDA documents, pathway assumptions, and approval-risk history.
  • Corporate disclosure analysis — SEC filings, investor decks, and management statements compared against evidence.
  • Commercial due diligence — market size, competition, pricing, reimbursement, and manufacturing reality.
  • What we are not: Pharma Investgator is not a promotional biotech consulting company, not an investor-relations advisor, and not a research shop for hire by the companies it covers. We do not make unsupported accusations of fraud. We use careful, evidence-based language — unsupported claim, material inconsistency, scientific red flag, requires further verification — unless documentary evidence clearly supports a stronger conclusion.
    How We Speak

    Tone & Positioning

Skeptical, analytical, independent, scientific. Thorough, transparent, and evidence-driven.

    Field Note“We read the footnotes.”
Field Note“Trust the evidence, not the promotion.”
Field Note“We investigate the science behind the stock.”
Field Note“Claims are easy. Evidence is harder.”
Field Note“The clinical data matters more than the investor deck.”
Field Note“Every biotech story has a dataset behind it.”
    Principles

    What We Believe

  • Primary sources first. A press release is a claim, not evidence. Registries, filings, and publications decide.
  • Facts before interpretation. Every report separates what the documents say from what we conclude.
  • Contrary evidence is presented. If the data supports the company, we say so — plainly.
  • Skepticism is a method, not a mood. We challenge narratives because capital allocation deserves it.
  • Precision is protection. Careful language is not timidity — it is what makes conclusions survive scrutiny.
